Essential IT Skills (ECDL)
The ECDL Service offered by NHS Connecting for Health closed on the 21st March 2008. This service was replaced on the 3rd March 2008 by the Essential IT Skills (EITS) programme, focusing on the delivery of two new qualifications fully accredited by the British Computer Society.
For more information regarding the new Essential IT Skills programme or for access to an archive of our ECDL resources, please visit our new website at www.connectingforhealth.nhs.uk/eits.
NHS CFH has agreed a licence for ECDL candidates who were registered with the ECDL service before 20th March 2008 (and accessing the learning materials in the three months prior to this date) to have continued access to the ECDL learning materials for one year. Candidates who are eligible for this licence can use their existing logon details to access the materials until March 2009 via www.healthelearning.net.
